Safe? Really?

I just had an "AHA!" moment. I suddenly realized that when you hear a statement from a rep from any agency, be it government or private for profit corp, that has the word "safe" in it you should substitute "exceedingly profitable" to get the real intent. Take for example, "Nuclear power is safe."
It has proven not to be and was known not to be by all it's promoters. It has been exceedingly profitable for them.
What does a Department of Safety do? It issues citations so fines can be collected.
A real person can be concerned for personal and loved ones safety without having any thing to do with monetary profit but they will profit emotionally which is what should be. On the other hand anyone you don't personally know who says they are concerned for you or anyone else being safe from whatever is in it to profit someone whether they know it or not. Tools may really believe the hype they spout due to efficient indoctrination.
Just consider how much it costs to make anything safe from or for anything. Your car and you and your home require insurance. If you have a pool or a dog or a business it costs even more. Why do we call it a safety net? It my keep you from death or injury if you walk a tight rope but in most other cases a net is a trap.
There are other phrases that could be substituted or added as well such as "and it's just easier for us if you believe our propaganda".
Take care and be safe so somebody can profit from you some how some way into the future.
